Question:

Why do you believe Christianity to be the only religion pointing to truth?

Answer:

Every religion that claims to point to the truth cannot all be true, as they all contradict each other in some way or another. The reality is that for one to be right, the rest must be wrong. We believe that when all the evidence is considered, Christianity proves to be the most historically accurate and reliable account of events.

Question:

What about all the evidence from other religions? they also claim to be right?

Answer:

Not all evidence presented by all people is honest or reliable. When placed under scrutiny, much of it crumbles. The reality is that not everyone can be right. As we have stated multiple times across this site, we believe that if you truly follow the evidence with an open and honest approach, you will arrive at a small list of possible candidates. (Quick tip:) Studying every single religion would be nearly impossible, but fortunately, every belief system falls into one of three categories. By understanding this framework of the categories, you can significantly narrow down the candidates that point to truth. (check out our free e-book for more on this -----> (click here)

Question:

What are the essentials of the Christian faith?

Answer:

The Bible outlines the core principles of the Christian faith, which include the deity of Christ, salvation by God's grace rather than through works, salvation exclusively through Jesus Christ, the resurrection of Christ, the Gospel, belief in one God (monotheism), and the Holy Trinity. These are the key "essentials" that followers of Jesus Christ are called to understand and believe.

Question:

Why would a loving god create people with special or needs?

Answer:

First it's important ask what is wrong with god creating people with special needs? we are all his children and in his eyes we all have the same value. Whist we could argue, ''well what about the fact that a lot of them will unnecessarily suffer''. It’s not just people with special needs who suffer—suffering is a part of life for everyone. It may be a difficult pill to swallow, but the truth is, we are flawed and broken. We need challenges in this life. In the Scriptures, Paul speaks about suffering building character, which can ultimately lead to positive outcomes like endurance and, character development and James encourages us to "count it all joy when you fall into various trials."

We live in a fallen world. The worst sin in history has already been committed—the murder of the Son of Man (Jesus). Yet, at the same time, the greatest event in history has taken place—the death of the Son of God, (Jesus) who gave His life to restore our broken relationship with God. If God can bring the greatest good out of the worst evil, then He can do the same with the challenges we face in our own lives. God has granted each of us a unique road to heaven, filled with twists, trials, and difficulties. Nobody ever promised it would be easy.

Question:

Why are there so many different Christian denominations?

Answer:

When a religious faith becomes widespread, sometimes people will develop different interpretations of what some lines in its holy books, or certain traditions, actually mean. This then causes groups to split up and then you get different denominations. Having different denominations doesn't make each of them wrong though, as in most instances they will all share the same core beliefs.

Question:

Which denomination is right then?

Answer:

It’s not a “us vs. them” scenario, as some might suggest or as it may seem. As mentioned in one of the answers above, there are core principles of the Christian faith that all denominations are called to believe. All denominations are part of the body of Christ, and He does not see individual segments but rather His church as a whole— and those who have a relationship with Him and keep his commandments.

Question:

If god knew Satan was going to rebel, and people would sin and commit horrendous acts why doesn't he stop it.?

Answer:

We have all been given free will—the gift to freely love and accept God into our hearts. Rightly so, God could make us love Him, and in an instant, He could wipe out all evil in the world. However, the moment He does this, our love is no longer freely given, and by definition, it ceases to be love. This, in turn, would render God a fraud and non existent, as His primary attribute is love. He wants free people that choose to love, it is clear from the texts that he doesn't want robots or controlled people. (click here) to discover more about gods love

Question:

Why do some Christians say certain things are wrong but other Christian's don't?

Answer:

Most of the time, this is due to the divide between biblical Christianity and cultural Christianity. A biblical Christian will tell you that astrology, sex before marriage, and getting blind drunk are wrong, whereas a cultural Christian won't. Biblical Christianity relies on the Bible to understand true faith. It is counter to cultural Christianity, which does not truly adhere to the faith or the Bible. Biblical Christianity bases its doctrine on the Bible alone. Cultural Christianity may be based on family background, personal experience, country of residence, or social environment—and in this view what the Bible says is secondary.

Here is a brief example

Recently, I had a conversation with an elderly woman who has remained comfortable in her position at her church. She has never held a position of authority within the church, as she still lives with her boyfriend and sleeps with him. She is aware that, due to the nature of her relationship and what the Bible teaches, she cannot hold a leadership position. However, she is fine with this, as such a relationship is acceptable in today’s society. Therefore, she can be described as a "cultural Christian."

In contrast, another couple I spoke with not long ago refuse to live together before marriage. They have read the biblical texts and believe that if it is written in Scripture, then it must be followed. They rely on the Word to guide them during this time. Even though society may see no issue with cohabitation, they understand that, biblically, it is not acceptable. They can be described as "biblical Christians."

Question:

Surly the resurrection is a mythical event?

Answer:

The resurrection has proven to be a reliable event, as the possibility of the resurrection is grounded in the greatest miracle already recorded in the Bible—the creation of the universe out of nothing. We have strong scientific and philosophical evidence supporting the truth of the very first verse of the Bible: "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth "If this verse is true, then every other verse in the Bible is, at the very least, possible. And then when you factor in the countless eye witness testimonies, and the reports of there being over 500 people at this event you end up with a undeniably true event.

Question:

Can I Loose my salvation once i am saved?

Answer:

"Personally, I believe salvation is something that can be lost. Based on Scripture, the Bible outlines certain criteria, and ultimately, we have the choice to reject salvation even after receiving it. However, this is a divisive topic among many. (Click here)
